THE TRAILBLAZER TREATISE FOR APPLIED RESEARCH & ART
The Trailblazer Treatise for Applied Research & Art (TTARA) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal. Manuscripts from students, faculty, and external institutions/professionals are welcomed. TTARA is indexed to DOAJ, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Scopus.
The journal was founded in 2024 by the Judith Carrier Library and serves the community of Tarrant County College students, faculty, academics, and external industry professionals. The journal functions as a platform to publish innovative research that offers insight into specific topics for practical implementation. TTARA encourages submissions to be written in a style that is accessible to a broad readership, including an audience who may not be accustomed to academic research or the subject discussed.
The journal aligns with Tarrant County College’s vision of being a ‘recognized leader for academic excellence, economic impact, civic responsibility, and personal enrichment.’ TTARA distinguishes itself as being a strong advocate for students, scholars, and professionals. First-time authors of all skill levels and previously-published writers are encouraged to contribute. All contributors have access to the TCC Learning Commons where research and writing specialists offer support and guidance.
